This is Buddy. He has gotten me through moving to a new school district, being the new nerdy kid, acne face, awkward high school, and first year of college.
Since I transferred out of state, Buddy waits for me. Well, I like to say he waits for me but last time I went home, he gave me the cold shoulder for at least two weeks.
Buddy: "You leave me? I now disown you...."
*Two weeks later*
Buddy: "Want to sneak junk food and watch a movie and stay up forever?"
Yep, he loves me. I think. We'll see when I go back home to visit. I would bring him with me but Buddy isn't used to extremes with weather, and I am worried about him adjusting to it here.
I do miss him often. My first semester away I would ask my parents to send me pictures of my handsome dog. Anytime I got a call from home my first question was How's my baby Buddy?
This dog and I have been through so many adventures. Woowee! I'll talk about those stories later.
